  • What is S2S?
    S2S is an acronym we use a lot at camp that simply means, Saved 2 Serve. This is based off of the scripture Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
  • What would I be responsible for at camp?
    As a group leader you will be responsible for getting all students to camp and to all scheduled elements of camp. Saved 2 Serve staff will take care of leading all camp elements, except for when you will be with your students after worship for church group time. Head to group leader information to find out what all you need to have ready before you get to camp!
  • What are adults responsible for before camp?
    *Adults must be at least 18 years old and have a completed background check. Sponor:Camper Ratio S2S Kids: Must bring 1 male sponsor for every 5 male campers Must bring 1 female sponsor for every 5 female campers. S2S Teen: Must bring 1 male sponsor for every 7male campers Must bring 1 female sponsor for every 7 female campers. *All adults must complete "Child Protection Training" prior to camp and submit the certificate of completion with camp forms. *Group Leaders must complete the "Church Participation Agreement" to bring to camp. This agreement is found in "Group Leader Info" online.
  • What is Track Time?
    Campers get to choose* and participate in 3 Track Times led and taught by our staff. These times are designed to offer options that appeal to the campers with a range of interests. Options range from Arena, Archery, Photography, Sports, Water Sports, Worship, and more. * Campers will be guaranteed 2 of their 3 choices.
  • What is S2S Time?
    S2S Time is the segment of camp where campers, organized by their team color participate in a mission that encourages them to discover ways to serve their faith and actively apply the principles they learn at S2S camp during their stay.
  • What if my camper does not have insurance?
    If a Group Leader/Camper requires medical attention while at camp, the Group Leader/Camper’s insurance (or camper's family insurance) is responsible for the cost. Group Leader/Campers ARE NOT REQUIRED to have insurance to attend camp. If the Group Leader/Camper does not have insurance, Saved 2 Serve Cowboy Missions Camp or staffers are not responsible for medical bills.
  • Do I need to register my child individually for camp?
    No. Your church Leader will create a group registration and manage their own participants.
  • What is the sponsor to kid ratio?
    The sponsor:camper ratios for each camp: Kids camp: 5:1 Teen camp: 7:1 Specifics are listed in the Group Leader packet or Group Leader FAQ, if more details are needed, please see your church Group leader.
  • What are the goals of Saved 2 Serve Cowboy Missions Camp?
    Saved 2 Serve Cowboy Missions Camp is firmly committed to offering a refuge where children and teens can briefly escape the noise and distractions in their lives, enabling them to clearly hear the message that God loves them, He has a purpose for their lives, and that they are “Saved to Serve”
  • What grades can go to camp?
    S2S Kids: Completed 3rd-6th grade S2S Teen: Completed 7th-12th grade
  • What color Team will my child be on?
    Team colors will be assigned 30 days before the start of camp. Team colors will be red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.
  • Are accommodations made for kids with food allergies?
    We are able to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities. Please let your church leader know, so we can accommodate the church group your child attends with.
  • How do you handle medication at camp?
    Medications for each student must be turned in with completed medical forms at registration to the camp nurse. All medications must be in the ORIGINAL BOTTLES AND IN THE STUDENT’S NAME. No daily pill sorters will be allowed. The camp nurse will dispense medications at appropriate times.
  • Can guests come visit camp?
    Safety is our #1 concern at camp. All visitors must be approved by the Camp Directors.
  • Should a camper bring money with them?
    There will be a camp store open throughout the week where they can purchase fun camp souvenirs and snacks.
  • Is there anything special my child should pack?
    Students will be divided into a color group. Your church will be notified approximately 30 days before camp begins with their group assignment. We encourage students to represent their groups by wearing their group colors! We will also have merchandise packages available for each color for pre-order soon.
  • Where can I find lost items after camp?
    At the end of each day, lost items will be taken to the Worship Center. If a camper's name and church group is on the found item, we do our best to return it to the camper that day. At the end of the week, we discard any clothes, towels, and water bottles. All remaining items left at camp will be kept for two weeks then donated.
  • May younger children come to camp?
    While we understand childcare can be a challenge to arrange for the duration of camp, we are not able to accommodate sponsor’s children during our camps.
  • What are the steps for Registration?
    Step 1: One Church Leader/church pre-registers their students and sponsors and pay deposits. Step 2: Complete Registration By 6/5/24 Campers Church Leader uses the registration link to register campers and sponsors. Church leader provides parents with a link to the Liability and medical release forms to be signed. If the camper need to have medication(s) while at camp, parents will send a hard copy of the completed medication form to camp. Sponsors Complete Child Protection Training, Background Check, & Liability waivers. Church leader provides sponsors with S2S liability and medical release form website link as well as instruction on how to access Child Protection Training and Background check. Step 3: Pay Final Balances by 6/5/24 *Be sure to register by 4/1/24 to avoid late fees!
  • What is Pre-Registration?
    Pre-Registration is step one of our registration process. Leaders indicate the number of people coming to camp (including sponsors) and pay deposits.
  • When are deposits due?
    EarlyBird deposits are due by 1/31 and all others at the time of pre-registration.
  • Are deposits refundable?
    No, deposits are not refundable. However, you can transfer deposits to students within your church group until 5/15/24.
  • When does the Early Bird rate end?
    The Early Bird rates end on 1/31/24 and all deposits are due by that date to lock in the discount. Kids Camp: $275 Teen Camp: $325 The standard rates go into affect on 2/1. Kids Camp: $325 Teen Camp: $375
  • When are final balances due?
    Final payments are due 6/5/24
  • Are there late fees?
    Yes, there will be a fee of $50 for each registration made after 4/1.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    Cancellations made before 6/6/24 will receive back all payments made except for the the initial $150 deposit. Cancellations made between 6/6/24 and 6/30/24 will be assessed a $75 cancellation fee. In other words, your refund can be calculated as follows: Camp Rate - $150 deposit -$75 = Refund Amount *Any cancellations made after 6/30/24 are nonrefundable.
